On Friday 7th October, Junior and Senior Infants went on a ‘Nature Walk’ to the woods. We saw horsechestnuts, acorns, a huge tree and lots of different types of leaves. We stopped off at the playground on the way home.

It’s that time again – Cash for Clothes….
The Cash for clothes scheme is aimed at raising funds for Murhur N.S. and shows the benefit that Recycling brings to the school. It also helps creates an awareness in children of how essential it is for everyone to Reduce, Reuse and Recycly.
Clothes will be collected at the school on 17th November. Bags can be dropped anytime between 9:00am and 12:30pm each day.
God’s Blessing on the Academic Year 2016-2017
Fr. Kevin celebrated mass to mark the start of our new school year on Thursday 8th September. This was a time to pause and to be mindful of each other and ask God’s blessing on our school and our school work, our pupils and teachers, our parents and friends and on everything that is part of our school life. The occasion was made special by the presence of Sr. Cara Íosa from Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity who was visiting family in the area. She blessed the children with a relic of Mother Teresa.
