The day the children of Murhur N.S. remembered – and won’t ever forget!
There was singing and dancing and music to mark ‘Proclamation Day’ and recall the events in Ireland 100 years ago. The Tricolour was raised and the National Anthem was sung followed by the reading of the Proclamation. The school’s own Proclamation for a New Generation, setting out pupils’ hopes and ideals for the future was also read.
